Job summary

Huntsville Hospital seeks an accountable nurse leader to oversee clinical operations within the department, ensuring efficient management of clinical and environmental systems. You will promote collaboration with other departments and customers while guiding nursing staff, providers, and leadership through complex challenges.

In this role, you will adjust to rapidly changing environments, maintain excellent internal and external communication, and uphold outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license; BLS and NRP certifications required.
• 3–5 years of charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for clinical operations and management of departmental clinical and environmental systems.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and leadership to solve human and clinical problems.
• Ensure effective communication within the department and with external customers.
