Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to administer professional nursing care and participate in our patient care continuum. You will identify patient needs through assessment, plan and delegate care, and evaluate outcomes during your shift.

The role emphasizes accountability for patient care and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of state board School of Nursing.
• License: Current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP required for critical care areas as per patient population.
• Experience: Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and maintain established standards.
• Assess patient needs and priorities for care.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient response to care and progress toward outcomes.
• Be accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the shift.
