Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Clinic for on-site work in Fredericksburg, VA. Pay is $58.80 per hour with part-time scheduling (2–3 weekdays and every other weekend).

Training lasts 3 weeks, then 6-week blocks are scheduled; some major holidays required. The RN will provide evidence-based patient care, document in EMR, and educate patients to promote positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings required.
• Experience with Phlebotomy, Vaccine administration, Point-of-care testing required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification with expiration date at least 30 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine and advanced patient assessments.
• Monitor and document vital signs.
• Evaluate patient conditions and monitor responses to treatment.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions.
• Perform mental health assessments and mood screenings.
• Document medical histories and medications in EMR.
• Educate patients regarding medication administration and disease management.
• Connect patients with healthcare resources and communicate with families and professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.
