Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) for an Outpatient Clinic in Washington, DC. This on-site, full-time role involves patient assessments, medication administration, and education in a fast-paced clinic.

Initial training is required, with 6-week block scheduling after orientation. A contract assignment may lead to permanent hire; benefits begin after 90 days for full-time employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing is required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems; Epic experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification with expiration >30 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine and advanced patient assessments.
• Monitor and document vital signs and clinical responses.
• Document medical histories and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate patients on medications, self-care, and disease management.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams and community resources.
