Job summary

Humboldthospital is seeking a part-time Office Coordinator or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a focus on outpatient services. The role involves scheduling, patient registration, and handling medical records in a busy clinic environment.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program or have valid LPN licensure. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, assisting physicians, and maintaining a safe work environment.

This position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 24–32 hours per week with various benefits including health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA certification or valid Iowa LPN license.
• One year experience in family practice or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, send faxes, and take detailed messages.
• Maintain patient records and clinic statistics.
• Assist providers during examinations and prepare laboratory specimens.
