Memorial Health System (Ohio) seeks an Outpatient Services Technician to provide full patient registration services and basic care tasks in the Outpatient Services center. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, ECGs, drug screens, and accurate EHR data entry.

The role requires a high school diploma (phlebotomy certification preferred) and BLS certification, with prior hospital/healthcare experience preferred. This is a full-time on-site position in Belpre, OH.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Board-eligible phlebotomy course with certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained during hospital orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient registration and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and drug/alcohol screens as ordered.
• Enter and verify patient data in the EHR, ensuring accurate registration.
• Assist in estimating test costs and collecting patient liable amounts.
• Refer patients to financial counselors for payment plan discussions.
