Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio is seeking an ER Technician in Belpre, OH to assist nurses and physicians in delivering patient care. You will perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and CPR while ensuring safety and infection control. The role requires a high school diploma, BLS, and preferred EMT/LPN credentials.

You will help maintain ED supplies, document daily charges, and support a compassionate, respectful patient environment across age groups from neonate to geriatric.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• EMT or LPN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RQI compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care to assure comfort, including hourly rounding.
• Assists with vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, catheterization, monitoring and CPR as needed.
• Supports ED team and assists physicians/nurses with procedures.
• Restocks supplies and maintains cleanliness of the Emergency Department.
• Keeps safety and infection control standards; documents charges for supplies.
• Fosters a positive patient experience and professional relationships.
