Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Nebraska (state).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and monitors IVs using barcode scanning.
• Assesses patient clinical status and coordinates RN duties.
• Coordinates wound care and outpatient procedures.
• Maintains accuracy of procedures and complete nursing records.
• Performs prior authorizations with insurance as needed.
• Schedules outpatient services and coordinates with multiple departments.
• Communicates follow-up information to patients and departments.
• Acts as primary contact for receiving outpatient provider orders.
