Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary and urgent medical management within outpatient clinics. You will collaborate with residents, fellows, attendings and staff under supervision of the Medical Director to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements include NP APRN license or PA license with NCCPA certification, Master’s or PA degree, BCLS/ACLS, and prescriptive authority eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s level NP with APRN license in state
• PA licensed with NCCPA certification and related credential
• Current BCLS/ACLS and prescriptive authority eligibility

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the approved medical practices process in patient care.
• Provides care appropriate to the ages served in assigned areas.
• Educates patient families, staff and community about care plans.
• Adapts communication and care to diverse patient populations.
• Performs other related duties as required.
