Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Marietta, GA is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to be the welcoming face of the practice and manage the main phone line with professionalism and warmth.

You will schedule clinic appointments and ancillary procedures, triage calls to the right teams, and provide coverage for other Front Office roles as needed while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a customer service representative or scheduler, preferably in healthcare.
• Telephone, scheduling and physician practice experience preferred.
• NextGen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and answers main telephone line, creating a positive first impression.
• Schedules clinic appointments and ancillary procedures.
• Triages calls to the appropriate PHI staff.
• Provides coverage for other Front Office positions as requested.
• Demonstrates outstanding customer service.
