Piedmont Athens Regional Specialty Services is seeking a detail-oriented registration specialist to support centralized scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance verification. You will respond to patient inquiries about billing and payments, ensuring accurate self-pay liability assessment.
The role requires 2 years of healthcare or related customer service experience or a bachelor’s degree substituted for experience. GED or high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Scheduling, pre-registration and insurance verification of all centralized scheduling services/procedures. Maintaining overall knowledge of the Patient Registration system in order to answer patient inquiries about insurance billing/payment and self-pay liability.
