Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians is seeking a friendly Front Office Associate to join its patient access team. You will greet patients, answer the main line, and schedule appointments with a focus on exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, at least one year in customer service or scheduling, and familiarity with medical office workflows; NextGen experience is a plus. We offer collaborative growth and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as a customer service representative, scheduler, or closely related position is required
• Telephone, scheduling and physician practice experience preferred
• NextGen experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and answers the main telephone line, creating a positive first impression.
• Schedules clinic appointments and ancillary procedures.
• Triages calls to the appropriate PHI staff and provides coverage for other Front Office positions as needed.
