Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day billing operations of the department and hospital outpatient billing service.
• Abstract data following ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS guidelines for coding and CMS directives.
• Perform data entry of required abstracted patient information into the EMR system.
• Query physicians when appropriate.
