Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Residential Coordinator to support admissions for out-of-home behavioral health services in Arizona. The role acts as a liaison among utilization management, providers, and care teams to ensure timely access to quality treatment settings.

The coordinator will manage referrals, identify appropriate residential providers, and maintain documentation while collaborating with care management and internal departments to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Arizona behavioral health system
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and electronic documentation systems
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within Arizona
• Residence in Arizona preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential treatment referrals and admissions for out-of-home behavioral health residential care
• Identify clinically appropriate participating residential providers based on treatment needs
• Manage referral processes and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with behavioral health homes, providers, and community partners for timely data submission
• Monitor referral status and facility timelines to ensure timely access to care
• Serve as primary contact for residential providers and internal stakeholders
• Address disruptions or changes in member circumstances with urgency and coordination of alternatives
