Responsibilities

• Facilitates intake, admissions, and prior authorization for patients.
• Performs insurance benefit verifications and communicates findings to patients and staff.
• Schedules pre-admission assessments and communicates recommendations.
• Completes assessments at facility or off-site and liaises with physicians.
• Maintains documentation involved with admissions and regulatory requirements.
• Works with business office, nursing and clinical staff to ensure timely admissions.
