Willow Creek Behavioral Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking an RN Intake Clinician (PRN) to facilitate admissions and conduct clinical intake assessments. You will coordinate prior authorizations, perform insurance verifications, and collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure timely admissions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure as an RN or equivalent, with experience in mental/behavioral health preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• One+ year of mental/behavioral health clinical or observational experience preferred.
• Licensure as RN or other clinical license as required by state.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates intake, admission, and prior authorization for incoming patients.
• Performs insurance benefit verifications and communicates results to patients and staff.
• Screens for clinical and medical appropriateness and communicates recommendations to physicians.
• Schedules pre-admission assessments and communicates recommendations to patients/families.
• Maintains documentation involved with the admissions process and ensures compliance with EMTALA.
