Job summary

Renewal, Inc. seeks a qualified professional to schedule and complete AOD diagnostic assessments for clients referred to its outpatient program. The role involves recommending levels of care, coordinating referrals, and ensuring proper documentation and authorization.

You will maintain confidentiality and collaborate with counselors, case managers, and finance to meet the plan of care and funding needs. A Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ experience is required, with Act 33/34

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DSM Diagnostic Criteria and required assessment tools.
• Knowledge of billing procedures including ICD-10 Codes and DSM-V.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders; strong writing and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete AOD diagnostic assessments for clients.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure proper documentation/authorization.
• Communicate between clients, referral sources, finance, counselors and case managers.
• Orient clients to the program and ensure timely services funding.
