Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a part-time outpatient assessor to support the Outpatient/Partial Hospital Department.

Under guidance from the Program Manager and Psychiatrist, you will plan and coordinate therapeutic services, triage clients, and ensure proper authorization and documentation. Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments by phone, facilitating referrals, coordinating care across services, and maintaining confidential records while complying with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Competency in addressing clinical matters over the phone or through formal clinical assessment.
• Understanding of payor sources and protocol, addiction treatment options, and client/family interventions.

Responsibilities

• Screens and assesses clients/families in a professional, thorough and timely fashion.
• Triages clients requiring services other than Outpatient in a timely and organized fashion.
• Provides clinically related tasks such as correspondence, completion of managed care forms, and ensures services are authorized and client obligations are handled.
• Completes required documentation within standard time frames and maintains confidentiality of all materials.
