Under guidance from the Program Manager and Psychiatrist, you will plan and coordinate therapeutic services, triage clients, and ensure proper authorization and documentation. Hours: Part-Time, every other Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Under guidance from the Program Manager and Psychiatrist, with latitude for initiative and independent professional judgment, serves as an assessor for the Outpatient/Partial Hospital Department. Plans and coordinates therapeutic services for outpatient clients and their families. The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.
Requires sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours at time).
Requires continual use of fingers for patient care, writing and computer entry.
Requires ability to hear normal conversation and good general, near and peripheral vision.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Competency in addressing clinical matters over the phone or through a formal clinical assessment. Understanding of payor sources and protocol, addiction treatment options, St. Luke’s Penn Foundation services, emergency management, and client/family interventions.
