Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a Team Support Staff member for the Retreat Outpatient program in Grand Rapids. The role involves welcoming visitors, answering questions, and scheduling while maintaining sensitive records and data in our EMR system.

You will assist clinicians and staff with data entry, charting, and basic billing tasks, contributing to a compassionate, efficient patient experience within a busy behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of related work experience in order to direct workflow and effectively prioritize workload.
• Position requires completion of high school (or equivalent) diploma.
• Preferred experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Offers administrative support through phone and in person including greeting and directing visitors or patients, answering questions, transferring calls, maintaining calendars, and inputting data.
• Maintains department files, records, and data entry in computer systems.
• Maintains medical records, assists physicians in completing records, and releases information when appropriate.
• Calculates charges, collects balances, orders office supplies, and supports staff under stress.
