Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Outlets Server Assistant at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva to maintain dining room cleanliness, set and clear tables, stock service stations, and assist servers to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• One year or more of prior service assistance in a fine dining outlet, hospitality, restaurant or customer service is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to understand verbal English and written English.

Responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables per reservations; reset tables promptly.
• Clear dirty dishes from dining/bar area.
• Deliver bread and refill water glasses.
• Maintain stock of glassware, silverware, plates, ice, and linen.
• Keep work area clean, including sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep, and trash removal.
• Assist servers with guest requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?
