Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking an Outlets Host to welcome guests, escort them to tables, and assist in delivering an exceptional dining experience. This role supports the restaurant, to-go orders, and overall service flow in a prestigious AAA Four Diamond resort.

No prior experience is required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus. Proficiency in English and ability to lift up to 35 pounds are expected, with flexible availability including weekends and

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and balance table assignments across servers.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus and wine list, note specials.
• Receive and log reservations and special events for the restaurant.
• Communicate table number and guest count to the server.
• Assist with beverage service if time allows.
• Maintain and display menus before, during, and after shifts.
• Assist with to-go orders.
• Support wait and bus staff and perform duties as directed by Manager.

As an Outlets Host at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, it will be your responsibility to greet and escort guests to their tables, maintaining courteous and efficient dining room operations to ensure

What will you be doing?

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive. Ensure even distribution of tables for each server.
• Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials.
• Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests.
• Beverage table if needed and/or time allows.
• Clean and display proper menus before, during, and after shift.
• Assist with all to-go orders.
• Assist wait staff and bus staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned per Manager.

What do you bring to the role?

• No prior experience required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions.
• Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations.
• Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
