Job summary

Marcus Geneva Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to lead daily food and beverage operations across Grand Café, Grand Central, Lobby Lounge, In-Room Dining, and Pool Bar. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, conduct pre-shift briefings, and coordinate events to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes maintaining service standards, managing costs, and promoting hotel facilities while building strong cross-department relationships and ensuring guest

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage management in a destination or fine dining setting.
• Strong knowledge of F&B operations, preparation techniques and wine.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid administrative abilities with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily food and beverage operations, including quality and service standards, cost control, guest relations, profitability, and equipment costs.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff for smooth operations.
• Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to organize daily tasks.
• Schedule and oversee staff work assignments.
• Interact positively with guests, promoting hotel facilities and services.
• Resolve guest issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Organize special restaurant events and coordinate with other departments.
• Control reservations, ensuring full space utilization without compromising service quality.

What will you be doing?

• Manage daily food and beverage operations, including quality and service standards, cost control, guest relations, profitability, and equipment costs.

What do you bring to the role?

• Previous food and beverage management experience required, preferably in a destination restaurant or steakhouse, fine dining experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, preparation techniques and wine required.
• High school diploma required. College degree not required but equal work experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.
• Capable of interacting professionally with all organizational levels.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and bend continuously; able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
