Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, is seeking an Outlets Host to greet guests, escort them to tables, and support dining room operations with warm hospitality.

• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive and ensure even distribution of tables for each server.
• Escort guests to tables, hand them menus and inform guests of specials.
• Receive, record, and manage reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Verbally communicate table numbers and guest counts to the server.
• Assist with to-go orders and support wait staff as needed.

As an Outlets Host at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, it will be your responsibility to greet and escort guests to their tables, maintaining courteous and efficient dining room operations to ensure

What will you be doing?

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive. Ensure even distribution of tables for each server.
• Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials.
• Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests.
• Beverage table if needed and/or time allows.
• Clean and display proper menus before, during, and after shift.
• Assist with all to-go orders.
• Assist wait staff and bus staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned per Manager.

What do you bring to the role?

• No prior experience required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions.
• Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations.
• Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
