Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Outlets Server Assistant at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI. You will assist servers, maintain restaurant cleanliness, stock service stations and help ensure superior guest satisfaction across our AAA Four Diamond outlets.

Based at the Grand Geneva, you’ll join a prestigious, full-service resort with strong teamwork values, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to transfer to other Marcus properties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• One year or more of prior service assistance in a fine dining or hospitality setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep café clean, organized, and reset tables promptly.
• Set and arrange tables per reservations; reset tables promptly.
• Clear dirty dishes from dining/bar area.
• Deliver bread and refill water glasses.
• Maintain stock of glassware, silverware, plates, ice, and linen.
• Keep work area clean, including sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep, and trash removal.
• Assist servers with guest requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
