Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is seeking a Material Handler for our Cleveland outlet store. You will move donated materials, salvage commodities, and sort items into designated locations while supporting the salvage sorting process.

This role offers cross-training opportunities across store functions and a chance to contribute to community programs funded by Goodwill. We value reliability and safety, with opportunities for growth and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to operate tipping equipment.
• Ability to use safety PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Knowledge of colors and merchandise across categories.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Move donated materials, salvage, trash, equipment, and other materials on/off trucks.
• Sort items into designated locations within the store.
• Support salvage sorting process and cross-train to cover other duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to stores, admin, vendors, and donors.
