Job summary

Goodwill of Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky is seeking a Material Handler for our Port Clinton Retail Store in Port Clinton, OH. This hourly position involves moving donated items, stocking inventory, and operating equipment safely to support store operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and up to one year of materials handling experience, with a focus on reliability, teamwork, and customer service. We offer competitive pay and benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience as materials handler preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate material storage equipment safely at Goodwill locations and loading docks.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at production areas and donation spaces.
• Keep truck docks and storage areas neat and orderly.
• Notify supervisor of shortages in storage materials and donated goods.
• Prepare paperwork for materials to be shipped or delivered.
• Assist donors and customers by unloading/loading items.
• Attend safety training and follow procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
