Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is hiring a Material Handler at our Canton Outlet Store. You will move donated materials, sort items, and support salvage sorting alongside other store functions.

This position offers cross-training opportunities and a hands-on role helping fund job training and community programs. Full-time, on-site work with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old to operate tipping equipment.
• Able to wear and use PPE safely as required.
• Knowledge of color shades and color tones.
• Knowledge of merchandise across categories.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Move donated materials, salvage items, trash, and equipment on/off trucks.
• Sort items into designated locations within the store.
• Assist in salvage sorting and cross-train to other duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to stores, admins, vendors, and donors.
