Qualifications

5 years as a chef or cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively under pressure.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Actively build and retain guest relations while mentoring the team to deliver superior service.
Hire, train, motivate, evaluate and supervise staff to meet objectives.
Establish training procedures to ensure service standards.
Maintain department objectives, standards, guidelines and budget.
Monitor purchasing, staffing, cooking, and inventory to control costs.
Evaluate food preparation and quality against recipes and HAACP standards.
Assist in menu development to ensure variety and quality.
Oversee storage of food items and compliance with health requirements.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment daily.
Attend meetings and complete follow-ups.
Other duties as assigned.
