Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana is seeking an Outlet Associate to support outlet leadership in achieving daily goals. The role includes cashiering, sorting recyclables, accepting donations, moving furniture, and providing customer service in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mon-Sat and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sun. The position offers daily quotas and opportunities to cross-train across outlet functions.

Qualifications

• Familiar with receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Has used pallet jack, double stacker, baler, and/or tipper.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Analytical mindset with numerical tasks and safety focus.
• Works well in a team and adheres to ethical standards.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders and follows cash handling procedures.
• Provides information about Goodwill programs to educate customers.
• Mants cleanliness of the sales floor and organizes merchandise.
• Safely moves properly priced furniture to the sales floor and arranges it.
• Assists customers with furniture carry-out requests.
• Rotates commodity bins on the sales floor and sorts items accordingly.
• Cross-trains in various outlet functions.
• Sorts recyclables from salvaged items and labels containers.
• Meets daily production/quality quotas and updates production sheets.
• Notifies leadership when money, cards, weapons or odd items are found.
• Accepts donations and educates customers on promotions and rewards.
