Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana is seeking an Outlet Associate to support outlet leadership by performing cashiering, accepting donations, sorting items, and assisting customers in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Daily quotas apply and the role includes handling furniture and assisting with backroom tasks.

The position requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, operating pallet jacks and other equipment, and adhering to Goodwill procedures and safety

Qualifications

• No degree required; emphasis on capability and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders and maintains a balanced drawer following cash procedures.
• Educates customers about Goodwill programs and directs questions to staff.
• Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor and arranges merchandise.
