Qualifications

• No degree required; candidates with capability and willingness to learn welcomed
• Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
• Strong communication and customer service focus
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Ring up customer orders and maintain a balanced cash drawer
• Provide information about Goodwill programs and answer customer questions
• Direct complex questions to the appropriate associate or manager
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized
• Move and arrange furniture on the sales floor
• Assist customers with furniture carry-out requests
• Rotate commodity bins and sort items accordingly
• Cross-train in various outlet functions
• Sort recyclables and separate salvaged items for processing
• Notify leadership about found money, cards, weapons, or other concerns
• Accept donations and educate customers on current promotions and rewards
