Job summary

A youth sports camp organization is seeking energetic and positive coaches for their summer baseball and softball camps in California. Coaches will inspire young campers to develop skills and personal accountability while ensuring a fun and safe environment. Candidates should have experience working with children and a passion for teaching, along with a commitment for 4-6 weeks during the camp season. Compensation ranges from $17.27 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must commit Monday-Friday for 4-6 weeks during camp.
• Dependable and reliable leadership.
• Pass a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers daily.
• Execute daily camp curriculum.

Skills

Experience working with children ages 4-13

Experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball

Passion for teaching
