Job summary

Vineyard City is seeking a passionate Yoga Instructor to lead safe, engaging classes for participants of varying skill levels. The role focuses on improving fitness, flexibility, mindfulness, and well-being in a welcoming environment.

Under Recreation Director supervision, you will plan and lead scheduled classes, promote safety, provide modifications, and create a positive experience. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Plan and lead 45-minute yoga classes following schedule.
• Provide modifications for varying fitness levels and safety.
• Communicate effectively with participants and maintain a positive environment.
• Background check required; CPR and First Aid certifications preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Lead outdoor yoga sessions at Sunset Beach Park.
• Arrive at least 10 minutes early to start on time.
• Demonstrate poses, breathing techniques, and meditation.
• Educate participants on benefits of yoga and healthy practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe class environment.
