Job summary

Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is seeking a part-time yoga instructor to lead safe, inclusive group classes that promote mindfulness, mobility, balance, and strength. The role emphasizes proper alignment, breathing, and modifications to accommodate diverse participants.

You will create a welcoming environment, build relationships with members, and support YMCA services while maintaining safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification.
• First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging, inclusive group exercise classes per YMCA standards.
• Deliver classes suitable for varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels with modifications.
• Provide clear verbal and visual instruction and demonstrate proper technique.
