Job summary

Northwest Exterminating is seeking a Wildlife Tech to perform wildlife exclusion and removal services in the field. You will build strong customer relationships, operate independently, and adhere to safety standards while helping communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No prior experience necessary
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Responsibilities

• Customer Relationships: Build strong connections with internal and external customers, creating 'Customers for Life'
• Wildlife Services: Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations
• Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications
• Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed
• Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal
• Service & Sales: Follow a service schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely visits
• Educate customers on wildlife services, and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional customer service
• Safety First: Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, including handling company equipment and vehicles
