Job summary

Northwest Exterminating seeks a Wildlife Technician to perform wildlife exclusion and removal services in customer locations, with a focus on safety and high-quality service. You will manage exclusion work, interact with customers, and operate across territories.

You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, start with a company vehicle and equipment, and work with a supportive team. Prior experience is not required, and you can grow with the company’s established regional presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Build strong connections with internal and external customers, creating “Customers for Life.”
• Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations.
• Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications.
• Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed.
• Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal.
• Follow a service schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely visits.
• Educate customers on wildlife services, and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, including handling company equipment and vehicles.
