Job summary

IAA is seeking Yard Staff to join the RB Global team in Portland. You will handle vehicle check-in, thorough cleaning, and safe handling of vehicles used in live auctions. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and customer-friendly service.

You’ll gain hands-on training in forklift and loader operation, work outdoors in various weather, and contribute to a fast-paced auction environment with strong teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the role.
• Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.
• Interest or experience with cars, rental or construction equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in vehicles by recording and filing information for each unit.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance and value at auction; training provided.
• Safely operate passenger vehicles and move them around the facility or participate in drive-through auctions.
• Recover keys, license plates, and related items and store properly.
• Assist visitors with directions and point them to the right person for help.
• On-the-job training in forklift and loader operation.
