Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner Auditor to support outdoor field operations, ensuring safe vegetation management around power lines and infrastructure. You will inspect easements, coordinate with landowners, and act as subject matter expert on UVM for clients and stakeholders.

The role blends fieldwork with safety and communication, requiring independent work in remote areas, strong problem solving, and the ability to develop vegetation plans.

Qualifications

• Identify local trees and read maps to plan vegetation work.
• Willingness to work alone outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Improve safe and reliable electric service delivery.
• Serve as SME for utility vegetation management with clients and landowners.
• Inspect easements and prescribe vegetation actions.
• Coordinate with landowners to develop vegetation plans.
• Ensure safety practices by tree crews.
• Address customer concerns about vegetation near easements.
• Coordinate with utility engineers on upgrades and new construction.
• Negotiate tree removal with customers as prescribed.
• Perform QA/QC inspections on vegetation work.
• Identify vegetation threats and develop mitigation plans.
