Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking individuals for field locating of underground utilities. You will locate telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines, marking precise locations and documenting each locate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer).
• Search designated areas, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph locates.
