Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is hiring field locators for outdoor utility locating work. You will operate a company vehicle, use field tools, and perform mark-out services for telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems. The role requires independent field work and a strong safety mindset.

We offer a comprehensive training program, paid time off, and benefits. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities in designated areas.
• Thoroughly search for utilities and accurately mark locations and document findings.
• Work daytime, full-time shifts with possible overtime, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
