The role focuses on protecting communities and ensuring safe power delivery across diverse landscapes while working outdoors and coordinating with property owners and contractors. The position emphasizes field data collection, safety, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for professional development and growth in a nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field required or equivalent experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification preferred.
• Experience in utility vegetation management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning and/or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories and hazard tree inspections.
• Plan work for tree contractors and crews.
• Gather and manage field data including species, size, and distance from conductors.
• Ensure data accuracy across databases and safety compliance on site.
