Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic Foresters for field work and inspections along utility lines. The role requires evaluating trees and brush, preparing client reports, and coordinating access for line-clearance crews in varied weather and terrain.

Minimum requirements include a 4-year degree or equivalent experience; ISA Arborist certification is preferred. The position emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and GIS data collection capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR 4 years of related utility vegetation management experience or ISA Arborist certification.
• ISA Arborist certification preferred
• Strong tree identification skills required
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
• Experience in utility vegetation management a plus
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and GIS data collection tools

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with clear recommendations.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
