Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers and Climbers to join our field crews. This full-time, non-exempt role includes on-the-job training in the line clearance industry and opportunities to build a lasting outdoor career.

Responsibilities include tree trimming, climbing, operating tools, liaising with customers, and maintaining safety while working in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in challenging conditions.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• No fear of heights.
• Willing to work long hours, overtime, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be willing to join local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees by climbing with ladders or works from the ground using saws.
• Operate and maintain required tools and equipment.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate work on the job site.
• Obtain access and communicate with property owners about work.
• Promote good customer relations and safety on site.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
