Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC seeks a Traffic Signal Installer to assemble, wire, and install traffic signal systems outdoors in Texas. You will read engineered layouts, interpret schematics, and ensure all work meets MUTCD and OSHA standards, with attention to safety and quality.

This role requires physical stamina, working at heights, and the ability to operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts. You will install signal heads, controllers, cabinets, and related equipment, test systems with

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of MUTCD/OSHA/TxDOT standards preferred.
• Ability to safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret intersection layouts and schematics.
• Install and wire signal heads, push buttons, and detection devices.
• Pull and splice overhead/underground wires with proper color coding.
• Assemble/install signal poles, mast arms, cabinets, and battery backups.
• Install/configure controllers, cabinets, and related equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks/aerial lifts; perform testing with meters.
• Follow safety standards for aerial work and electrical hazards.
• Document installations and inspections in project logs.
• Report layout discrepancies and material needs.
