Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking a Traffic Signal Installer to assemble, wire, and install signal systems outdoors across Texas. You will work with overhead and underground wiring, operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts, and ensure all installations meet MUTCD, OSHA, and project standards.

The role requires reading engineered layouts, installing signal heads, detectors, and controllers, and performing field testing with multimeters.

Qualifications

• Experience installing traffic signal systems and related equipment.
• Ability to read engineered layouts, schematics, and riser diagrams.
• Commitment to MUTCD/OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read intersection layouts and schematics; install and wire signal heads, push buttons, and detectors.
• Run overhead/underground wiring through conduit; maintain color coding and terminations.
• Assemble poles, mast arms, brackets with correct torque and rigging.
• Configure controllers, cabinets, and battery backup systems for continuous operation.
• Operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts; ensure correct orientation and visibility.
• Test voltages and signals; document installations and inspections.
• Follow safety standards for aerial work and electrical hazards.
• Assist with material staging and inventory; report discrepancies to Foreman.
