Job summary

SICE, Inc. is hiring a Traffic Signal Field Technician in Hidalgo, Texas.

You will install, retrofit, and maintain traffic signal components and underground infrastructure in outdoor environments near roadways and construction zones. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related construction/electrical experience; IMSA Traffic Signal Level I certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months; and experience with bucket trucks or aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related construction/electrical experience.
• IMSA Traffic Signal Level I certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with bucket trucks or aerial lifts.
• IMSA Level II/III preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various traffic signal construction work in accordance with safety standards, policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Underground infrastructure, above ground installations and retrofits and signal and traffic signal component maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions.
• Keep equipment in trucks well organized and in working order.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
