RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Florida is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. The role requires standing for long periods, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and coordinating with a team using radios.

You will set up signs, cones, and barricades, operate stop/slow paddles, and ensure safety for workers and the public. Valid driver’s license, background check, DOT compliance, and ATSSA Flagger training are required, with

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• ATSSA Flagger training and Defensive Driver training required.
• Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for long periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Work in outdoor environments with moving traffic and noise.
• Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
