Job summary

Spectrum seeks an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and expand access to Spectrum’s high-speed data and communication solutions. You’ll visit residential leads, analyze needs, and propose Spectrum products while driving growth and customer satisfaction.

The role requires evenings/weekends, travel to assigned territories, and a base salary with lucrative incentives aiming for total compensation over $100,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to listen, assess customer needs and tailor sales approaches.
• Experience with basic sales processes: prospecting, presenting, and closing.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that address customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and growth.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across Spectrum services (high-speed data, mobile, landline, video).
• Monitor competitors’ activities and report insights to your manager.
