Ideal candidates hold a valid CDL and have some experience in waste collection or related driving tasks. The position offers a 40-hour schedule with potential shifts during holidays and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 1+ years CDL vehicle operation experience.
• No high school diploma/GED with 5-7 years CDL vehicle operation experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Collecting refuse, recycling, yard waste, and bulk materials safely and efficiently.
• Operating and driving a rear-loading collection vehicle once licensed.
• Following established collection routes and service schedules.
• Communicating effectively using two-way radios and written documentation.
• Completing daily survey sheets and vehicle inspection forms.
• Providing courteous customer service to residents.
